Compass Mining, the world's first online marketplace for Bitcoin mining hardware and hosting, today announces its membership of the Texas Blockchain Council (TBC).

TBC launched in November 2020 with the goal of growing the cryptocurrency industry's presence in Texas and educating the state's legislators on how to craft policy that best accelerates this growth. Bitcoin mining in particular has seen rapid growth in Texas for the past few years, and TBC wants to work with local lawmakers to continue that trend. TBC is a nonprofit trade association with over two dozen members, including Unchained Capital, Cormint Data and Argo Blockchain.
